Over the last months, the results section of the RaceGorilla dashboard has been updated with some nice and useful results features.
There are 3 main options to create printed results or exports. Custom provides all kind of filter options to create whatever results output you like. Races provides results with a preset for races.
Events provides results for events, for example the “best of” or “sum of” results.
Custom results
The custom results used to be the only results option. Is has a lot of features and some of these features, Such as adding split times were added recently.
This custom results prints prints or exports the results as shown on the screen. Be aware that when there are only for example 15 results selected (see bottom left select box), only these results will be exported.
The most important options are indicated in the screenshot below:
- Prints out the results as shown on your printer
- Exports the results as shown to a .CSV-file
- Exports all results to a PDF-files
- Dropdown menu for column selection (for example splits or runs)
- Toggle between “event” or final results and “race” or Run results.
Race Results
In the race results, it is easy to print individual race results. This option is made mainly for regatta type competitions. There can be multiple series of for example “men 1000m sprint”, and for each of these series only the 2 fastest will progress to the finals. Therefore you need the results to be displayed as race results, tot by event.
Results can be exported as a PDF result as selected, or viewed using the slide-out arrow on the right.
Be aware that you can select the columns as displayed only in the slide-out results view.
Event results
The events results option is the latest update in showing ad exporting results. It shows end or final results, in a pre-set format. Once one or more events are selected, the download options is shown. The pop-up screen lets you choose some export options to have the results PDF or excel.
