When participants are uploaded to RaceGorilla—whether manually or from an external entry system—it’s common to make changes later in the dashboard. Athletes might switch events, teams could be adjusted, or new squads might be formed. As a result, the original subscription data from your entry system may no longer reflect the actual situation.
To solve this, RaceGorilla allows you to define subscription costs both:
- Globally, at the competition level, and
- Specifically, for each individual event.
This flexible setup gives you full control as a competition manager. You can:
- Accurately calculate updated subscription costs based on the latest changes
- Generate reports filtered by athlete, club, team, or squad
- Ensure a fair and transparent overview for invoicing or internal tracking
This makes RaceGorilla a powerful tool not just for live timing and result management, but also for organizing the business side of your event.
A walk through of the differents parts in the dashboard
The below paragraphs explain the differents parts of the dashboard from configuring the subscription fees to finding overviews, details and reports.
Competition subscription fee
A global subscription fee which applies to each athlete. This can be used if subscription to a competition has a fixed fee irrespective to the number of events an athlete participates in.

Event subscription fee
In addition to the global fee, RaceGorilla allows you to set specific fees for individual events within your competition. This is particularly useful if certain events incur additional costs. Only athletes who participate in that specific event will be charged the corresponding event-specific fee.

Subscription cost per athlete
The dashboard provides a detailed breakdown of subscription costs for each athlete, combining both global and event-specific fees. This transparency ensures that you can monitor individual charges effectively.

Detail per athlete
For a more granular view, you can access detailed information for each athlete, including their assigned events and the total subscription fees applicable. This feature aids in resolving any discrepancies and provides clarity on individual charges.

Overview per club
RaceGorilla also offers an aggregated view of subscription fees at the club level. This summary helps in understanding the total costs associated with each club, facilitating easier communication and billing.

Report for export
For accounting and record-keeping purposes, you can export comprehensive subscription reports. These reports can be filtered by athlete, club, or event, providing flexibility in how you analyze and share financial data.

By leveraging these features, RaceGorilla ensures that you have complete control over subscription management, making it easier to handle financial aspects of your competitions efficiently.
