Nothing more is needed to have this race and real time results. The volunteers can be positioned along the course with just their mobile phone with an internet connection and the app installed. Each car passing can be timed by hand or connected to a photocell, and the intermediate results are updated on the internet right away. This works both at a local club race, as well as during an international event.
